Here is an image of a stamp depicting a medieval scholar, designed and combined engraved by Belgian artist and engraver Constant Spinoy (1924-1993), and issued by Belgium on May 28, 1966 to commemorate the Royal Library of Belgium, whose history goes back to the age of the Dukes of Burgundy, Scott No. 668.

The Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek (English: American Memorial Library) is one of the largest public libraries in Berlin, Germany. It was co-financed by a donation from the United States.
The building was designed by American and German architects, including Fritz Bornemann and Willy Kreuer.

Marco Fidel Suárez (1855-1927) was a Colombian philologist, philosopher, poet, writer, teacher and politician who served as president of Colombia from 1918 to 1921. Here is an image of an airmail stamp featuring a portrait of President Suárez pausing while reading in his library, engraved and printed by Thomas de La Rue &Co., Ltd., and issued by Colombia on April 23, 1955 to commemorate Suárez's birth centenary, Scott No. C272. plus an image of a painted portrait of Marco Fidel Suárez.
