Here is an image of a semi-postal (charity) stamp depicting a journalist reading a newspaper in an office library, designed by Swiss artist Édouard Elzingre (1880-1966), printed by photogravure, and issued by Luxembourg on May 1, 1935 as one of a set of 15 stamps benefiting a fund to aid intellectuals an professional people, Scott No. B65C. Note: Curiously, Stanley Gibbons (1965 ed.) misidentifies the designer of the stamps in this set as "Zelzinger." - nethryk |
