Mexico 50th Anniversary of UNAM Central Library April 5, 2006 UNAM Central Library is the main library in the Ciudad Universitaria Campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City. It holds one of the largest collections in Mexico. The exterior of the library building is covered with various murals which were done by Juan O'Gorman.  |

Romania 150 Years since the establishment of ASTRA SIBIU Association and Library July 15, 2011 The Transylvanian Association for Romanian Literature and Culture of the Romanian People (ASTRA) was established in November 1861. The ASTRA National Museum Complex is a complex in Sibiu, Romania which consists a series of laboratories, museums, and a documentation center. The 9.10 lei stamp depicts the building of ASTRA Library.  |

Ireland The 300th Anniversary of Marsh's Library March 14, 2001 Marsh's Library, situated in St. Patrick's Close, adjacent to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, is a well-preserved library of the late Renaissance and early Enlightenment. When it opened to the public in 1707 it was the first public library in Ireland. It has a collection of over 25,000 books and 300 manuscripts.  |

Bulgaria Centenary of the Cyril and Methodius National Library December 15, 1978 The SS. Cyril and Methodius National Library is the national library of Bulgaria, situated in the capital city of Sofia. Founded in 1878, the library received the status of Bulgarian National Library in 1881, and the Bulgarian National Revival Archive was merged into it in 1924. The souvenir sheet features Miniature from a Book of the Gospels (13th Century).  |

It holds one of the greatest classical texts collections in the world. The stamp design depicts the etched plate by Francesco Zucchi entitled View of the State Library in St Mark's Square printed in Venice in 1740.  |
