My Canadian stationery is an area I have been neglecting lately. I keep forgetting to go to the post office to see what the latest issues are.

Anyway, at our last club meeting, I was able to get this used one for 25 cents. I didn't know it was issued until now. I guess I will have to go to the post office more often.

9 different designs were released back on January 23. If you like collecting the definitives, these are a 'natural' addition to your collection:

Nice find, especially at just 25c. Genuine, non-philatelic uses of this (and the others) I would bet are quite scarce.

Thanks for this studystamps.

As soon as I saw this Walrus one, I was guessing that the others would be the same wildlife series as well. I guess I have some catching up to do. Also, I think you are correct about the commercially used ones being hard to find. It is the same as their stamp counterparts being used with a fine cancellation.

I had to be in town today to do some last minute errands etc and stopped by the post office in town. While I was there, I bought all nine different postal stationery images with the Wildlife series. Again, I am glad you pointed this out to me.
