As a stamp collector catalogs are an essential tool for me..i noticed lately that my 2008 Scott catalogs were getting on the bare edge of effiency.Last night I trolled ebay for catalog prices and one seller had a set of 6 2012 catalogs and the bidding was about 175.00 plus shipping. I placed a bid of 190.00 and was surprised when the other bidder quit at $188.25 ! So I know waht I am getting for Christmas. I can not justify paying $400 for a set of catalogs..but I feel that $200 every 3 years is doable !
Great deal Phil! I already gave my wish list to the wife and topping it was the 2013 SCOTT CLASSIC SPECIALIZED STAMP CATALOG. I hope the hint was taken.

It would be cheaper and easier than that. You can buy a Scott country section for Chile every year. Each year I buy Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela for less than $20.

It depends on how much money you want to spend on catalogues. Myself I still have Scott 2007 on cd and I am lucky I don't live far from the public library that buy the Scott every year. The 2013 is for reference at the library but the 2012 I can bring home. The bad thing is that Scott doesn't have the cd version anymore (i know now they have it for Ipad). Scott on cd is fantastic. You can enlarge the stamps pictures, do search by key words etc. Scott edited the cd version only for 2007 and 2009.
