Southeastern Stamp Show
2013 January 25, 26, 27
Who else is planning on going to the Southeastern Stamp Show Jan 25th-27th ? It's at the Hilton Hotel NE, on Peachtree Ind. Blvd. in Norcross, GA. It's an APS affiliated show, 25+ dealers and should be a good one.

It was a fun show and I spent way too much. I spent most of my time on postal history and have many nice covers new to my collection. I even picked up another #24 curl on cover. Several multiple franking of the #24 and even a #20 on cover that was identified as a #24. A few other covers in different periods to round things out including a 1, 2, 5, & 8 cent 1893 Columbian cover.
I think my "find" of the day was a document with a U.S. Revenue that was mailed using a # 65. So, not an illegal use but a multiple use. I'll try and get a scan soon.

For those who couldn't make it this year, its worth the time and effort to try and make it next year.

I am glad to hear you had a great time at the January show. I'm actually the show chairman, so be sure to tell me every way you think the show can be improved.

The show will be bigger this year, with more dealers, including several new dealers who seldom come through Atlanta.

We are also anticipating another FDOI ceremony on the Friday morning.

Check back regularly with www.stampclubs.com/sestampshow.htm for more info on the Southeastern Stamp Expo 2013.
