US cover 1891 with Jackson stamp issued 1890.Notice something odd about the perfs at the bottom of the stamp. Is it that it was not cut out properly or is it damaged or normal. Any other feed backs and inputs on this cover much appreciated. Thanks.

It is poorly centered and has some chads left in the perforation holes. Surprised it wasn't mailed from Florida.

That is not a common stamp on cover; it catalogs $16 in the 2008 Scott Specialized, and probably more now. It is also from a time period when you want to check carefully for the date of earliest known use.

Thy are basically the same thing, just with slightly different wording.

Eku= earliest known use.

Edu= earliest documented use.
