i received an APS circut book of GERMAN STATES ...note the red stamp Hanover 14b it catalogs 52.00 the seller is asking 3.50 because he calls it HEAVY THIN...it aint that bad..now if you needed to fill that space and it looks great from the front....would you not consider buying it ?

No ,I would not buy it ,if I got it as part of a larger collection that would be different .
The future of this hobby is on exhibiting on line ,so anything like thins or back damage is going to have a different persective than in the old days ,when your friends came over or you took it to a club meeting they looked thru your collection and exaimined the better stamps by flipping them over .Now you can just scan them and people are impressed and never know your collection was builded on the cheap with thinned and damaged on the rear.
