Had the sender posted that to Australia,
it would have been refused.
It was only on January 1st 1889 the Aust colonies entered into
an agreement to have Postcards exchanged.

The agreement to exchange postcards overseas by the UPU
was only approved in 1874

Does that read

I don't think the first letters are both the same. I also think the first letter of the second word you refer to is the same as the middle initial of the name. But I could be wrong.
