Just spent last few hours looking up newfoundland forgeries and wow was there some great ones. Sperati forgeries are amazing and sometimes 4-6 test need to be done. The speratti forgeries sell from $150-$500 and even more so they are a collection in themselves. I love the way he took the no color embossed Sardina stamps and removed the ink and replced the outer frames inverted. With all the forgeries being bogus emboss jobs he gave a legit embossed head with an upside down printed frame. Can only venture a guess as to what he made in hi years.
