I'm not a big fan of CTO stamps, like a lot of people. To me it just seems like cheating a bit, like the post offices are providing collectors with an easy ride in exchange for a quick buck. But as my collection expands into the country of Hungary, I find my opinion swaying a little. They're just so attractively done, and they really make for a pleasant spectacle as they begin to fill the pages. Temporarily at least, I might have to suspend my prejudice.

Although the 1988 issue commemmorating the 5th International Conference on Oriental Carpets is a bit of a stretch ... :)
