I have a question concerning Stanley Gibbons Number 252 British stamp. I have gone to two extensive listings of stamps for sale and this number is skipped in both listings. My ancient specialized Stanley Gibbons catalogue lists this number.

Does anyone have a fairly recent GB Specialized Gibbons catalogue and can check to see if this number is still listed? There is a gaping hole in my album waiting for this stamp. (it is a blank album that I have placed mounts for the stamps and I put a mount for this stamp based on the catalogue I have).

I'd appreciate any help available.

Hi Ron
In The new SG Catalogue 252/3 have been deleted.
In the older GB Specialized 252 is the same stamp as 251,
the only difference is 252 is on "Chalky paper" .
This is now listed as 251a in the newer version.
The prices are pretty much the same for both varieties.
