From what I can see based on the color dots in the margin, one solid brown color was used for the bag and boots, so the brown should not be affected by the missing red. It appears faded, pointing again to a fake.

I paid 15$ for this stamp. I think it was a good deal.

Base on your comments, I'm inclined to believe that it is a fake.

I may eventually get it expertized.
