Scott catalog has two entries for image A235, catalog nbrs 965 and 966 (October 1, 1967). Can someone enlighten me as to what distinguishs one from the other?

Scott #965 has Mao's head in front of a sun with rays extending to the edges of the stamp; #966 has nothing remotely resembling a sun and rays. I agree it's confusing.

Search ebay for "China #966" and you will see a copy; it has the same red banner across the bottom, and it shows a group of people, indoors, all holding up a "little red book."
