How Stressed Is The Usa.

We are getting some very stressed type emails from mainly out of the USA.

I feel for these people as we have known most of them for some time and there has never been a cross word so we are cutting them a lot of slack.

I have picked out this part of an email as an example because it is not offensive. We always send out the stamp or stamps that are on the scan. Unless I find a damaged stamp when packing but I will include a note.




We made 65c on this deal.

This person has been nothing but totally polite for the last 18 months and they are still very special people to us. No bad blood what so ever.

What do you think about all this?

I wouldn't think anything about it. I always get emails like, "please use stamps on the package, please combine items for one shipment, please enclose things in a plastic bag for mailing, please use stiff cardboard for mailing and the like". All of which are standard mailing practices for me and I have written in the description/listing for each and every item for sale. I think it's a kneejerk reaction from buyers who have not received such service from other sellers, but not one's self.

If you're already planning to do whatever the buyer wants then don't worry - let sleeping dogs lie.

I agree with Battlestamps, its a reflection of poor service they've had from others, not from you. Don't stress yourselves!

I think society keeps changing...many people have a "me me me" mentality and parents do not teach manners to their kids..the USA is guilty but I travel a bit and we are not the only ones !!

Yup!,Don't sweat it, they obviously are just "covering all the bases" from bad deals in the past. I wouldn't stress over it really. You sound like a very tolerant individual, and one needs to be to "deal" with the public. I've owned 2 Tobacco stores in my lifetime and let me just tell you, I have been chewed out by the best of them..Some I honestly believed must have practiced on the way over..ha-ha-ha!

If your wondering about my stores (and I doubt you were..lol) they was called Ashworx and the other The Magic Dragon. 149 W. Long Ave. Dubois, Pa. 16833- The building burned to the ground years after my reign.

The Magic Dragon sounds like a place that sells smoking products for medicinal purposes or for sale in Colorado.

I agree, I've had several cases where stamps I've purchased were not the stamps I received and the stamps I received were vastly inferior to the stamps pictured. I've even had dealers say "what do you care, I'm not going to take a picture of every single stamp I sell, you got a stamp, stop whining".

No thanks. I want the stamp in the picture, exactly the stamp in the picture and no other stamp. It's what I bought, it's what I should get.

Yup, that's what I was thinking too.

The digital age also has made communication more sloppy and abrupt. Many people think they can multitask but it seems there is a lot lost when only half of ones concentration is on the task at hand. Shake it off and think of where you will spend that 60 cents you earned.

Judging by the news we are seeing, I'd say very stressed.
