Included with the massive U.S. stamp collection that my family inherited was a minor collection of world stamps. Here's a few for now with more picture to come.

Someone murdered a whole pile of good covers. What you have now is what's called "Stamp on piece" as it was cut off the envelope (Cover) with the postmark.

Collecting habits have changed over the years and 30 - 40 years ago that's what they did, grab the scissors and away they went. I have covers from the 1800's that my grandmother wrote catalog numbers on in permanent markings.........
