Afghanistan ID Help #4 - Bob?- No Face Val - Unknown Stamps

The following 2 stamps came with a group of Afghanistan. I am not even sure they are Afghanistan, and I cannot find them in my Scott Catalog at all.

Also - They do not appear to have a Face Value. Unless it is written in non-english characters that I cannot read.

I thought maybe Officials, but, not sure.

Hi Eric,

I believe these two are unissued or bogus stamps from Faridkot. Many varieties were created for collectors after the state switched to using overprinted British India stamps. The design is close to that of the issued 1 paisa ultarmarine.

Definitely Faridkot, and definitely bogus - issued purely for collectors, after the originals



had been replaced by overprints on British Indian stamps
