This listing is for 10,000 worldwide stamps. In the description below the photo, he states, "Light dupes. 1000+ different issues."

Does anyone happen to know exactly what is meant by "1000+ different issues"?

An 'issue' is one uniquely identified stamp, as denoted by a catalog notation.

You'd probably be better off spending your money on a high value stamp or two. Like the prospector who goes into the mountains, he may find a bit of gold but it's not likely and requires a substantial amount of work.

I interpret it to mean that of the 10,000 stamps, there will be 1000 or so that are different than the others. In other words, about 9,000 of the stamps are duplicate copies.
