I have found that if you want to remove sticky labels from anything, this is the best way.

Using a hairdryer on very low heat apply the heat to the corner of the item. The corner will then be able to be gently lifted.

You can continue using the hair dryer and gently lift the sticker as the heat lifts the glue. This will successfully remove the sticky label.

Also once you have a corner slightly lifted you can also breath gently in short burst of breath on the sticky label. This will also allow you to remove the sticky label

One warning experiment first on something that is not valuable.
It works for me every time

That adds a new one to the stamp no-no dictionary. We not only have marker monkeys; this one is a sticker monkey! Was there really no other spot on this letter to put that thing?
