Tonight I was attending the weekly meeting of the Springfield Va stamp Club. I was able to make a couple of good buys tonight from the club books. I was able to buy a set of Guatemala 1-4 unused for 1 dollar and a set of Guatemala 11-14 unused for 1 dollar and a set of Guatemala 21-25 unused for .75 cents Not too bad I thought.

Are those older stamps because of the numbers? When you get some time post them. |

If I had a violent personality, I would probably be super jealous Rick. Not only do I not have a club meeting to attend - if I did they would probably only have three our four damages Tongo CTO's for sale!
I'm proud for you (as well as a little envious!). |

Greg
This was only my third meeting with them . I am impressed with how extensive the club books are. I may have to dig through the German book for you! There is an auction next week I hope to have good luck there as well. |

Rick, thats the way to start a Guatemala collection..many people are not interested in Central and South American countries and the few of us who are can sometimes pick up a very good deal when they unload their unwanted stamps...i have a stamp club meeting tonight..would not miss one...and this Sunday we are going to visit a relative in a nursing home near Albany and we will hit the monthly stamp show up there...its great to combine trips ! |
