This won't be nearly as impressive, as its just a Canadian coat of arms, but it did come off a mail wagon from the 1900's? There's no real history on it that I know of. It came with my grandfathers retirement, along with a mantle clock. Thought you all might like to see it. Its about 18 inches by 24 inches. It rotates on and off our walls as a decoration but I remember now its starting to show som age and flaking a bit. One more thing to tackle! Anybody have pictures of 1900's mail wagons?

I don't have a mail wagon but I did get a stool custom made for me in Ghana with the Canadian coat of arms. It took the artisan over a month to hand carve this thing.

A nice piece of collateral postal material nonetheless. Too bad there were not any old pictures of your grandfather while he was on duty working on the postal wagon.
