Years ago I bought a bound edition of St. Nicholas Magazine a popular American children's magazine, founded by Scribner's in 1873. It included
a Stamp Page...here's an example from Feb. 1902 (111 yrs ago!)..also
a half page of classified ads.

Interesting literature alright.

It is amazing what was published way back when and I am sure that a great deal of the material is unknown to us.
