I'd like a little clarification as to what this stamp is.
It appears to be Greek, and my first guess is that it's some sort of charity stamp.
It does have a date 1915 in the logo, but that doesn't match the usual red cross logos in the catalogue, as far as I can see. Has it something to do with the aftermath of the Balkan Wars?

I can't read Greek, but the fourth line does seem to contain a word which looks very like "Patriotic." and the last word has "Greek" as its root. That's as far as I can get.

Morning Telcson!
It is a charity stamp, issued 1915 for the Women's Patriotic League Fund. Catalogues around 1.50 euros mint and 1 euro used in my 2008 Hellas catalogue. Hope this helps.

Thanks David and good morning.
That was very quick.
I imagine the stamp's not Venezialist, as it has the royal crown,
so it would be in the period of Constantine, which I have down as 1913-17,
until he abdicated, and maybe I could take the word "patriotic"
in meaning patriotic to Greece as a kingdom?
It would be nice to have a translation, if someone coud help with that,
as it isn't a pictorial stamp.
I'll look up the Women's Patriotic league on-line, to see if
there's any more information out there.
Thanks again.

Here is the translation, following the Greek syntax:

"HELP THE
UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP
OF H.M. THE QUEEN
PATRIOTIC LEAGUE
OF GREEK WOMEN"

That's great, Vasia, thank you.

Looking on-line I couldn't yet find much info, but there are a couple of examples
recently on sale on ebay that were dated 1919 and 1922,
It's interesting that later versions have a value ascribed on the stamp.

It's under royal patronage.
Given Constantine's difficulties during and after the first world war,
it's very much got a context.
I like that about stamps, the hsitorical contexts that you can pin to them.
