I purchased a Scott National Album, 3-ring binder set. I want to transfer my old Scott 2-post pages and have a dilemma. The location of the modern 3-ring page holes are closer to the edge than a standard 3-ring punch. My punch allows me to center the pages, top to bottom. However, I do not have an adjustment for left to right. Any thoughts on how to properly punch the 2-post pages to match the 3-ring pages?

Show us one of each page type, side by side, and, overlapped.

My solution was to make shims, inserted in the back of the three notches on the punch. This shifted the three holes .090 to .100" closer to the edge of the paper. After some "trial and error" with scrap paper, I was able to punch the entire album, 15 pages at a time and maintain excellent alignment.

I used a one-hole punch with a page from a recent National page update (punched for both two- and three-hole use) as a template.
