Was taking a closer look at the stamps labeled under Baden found this Rural postage due stamp .
I have a few questions if anyone can help, firstly in the Stanley Gibbons catalogue it says that these stamps were printed black on yellow, mine is more an off white maybe a hint of yellow but definately not yellow.
Was there a later print on paler paper?

Secondly I noticed that there is a nick of colour taken out of the top right side of the number 1.Could this be a printing error ?

And lastly what is it's value if any ?
Sorry for the poor quality of picture,do not have a scanner and was using hubby,s supposedly 'smart phone'my husband say,s it,s only as smart as the person using it which explains fuzzy picture.

Thanks Floortrader,i think the photo has come out slightly paler (and fuzzier) than the actual stamp which is a more creamier colour, but it does help to have a comparison.
Do all copies have the little nick out of the number 1,or is it another flaw?
Many thanks again.

kathlav, can you check the perfs? Originals should perf 10, and yours looks like it might be closer to 9?
