The meaning is that France will defend herself "until the end," a practical translation for jusqu'au bout...so call it a patriotic label (WWI era).

Here are couple more early French labels, may have shown these before. I assume the 1906 Olympics is French, but could easily be from somewhere else. The other label I think is post-WW1, roughly translates as 'French products are better than German products'.
