My Daughter and I stamping this evening! What a great time we had. She just looked so cute I had to snap a few pics to share! I hope it's OK and in the right spot on the forum?

Now theres something you can't put a catalog value on. Recently sent my grand daughter a package of stamps in the mail for her album- She was more excited about receiving the mail then she was over her IPOD which is a huge statement.

That is a good feeling isn't it? She got one of her binders out and was carefully inspecting each one and putting them in the spots she wanted and was having a blast! She is still fiddling with them right now. She likes when we spend time together and so do I especially when postage is involved!

I also just noticed all the chocolate ice cream all over her! lol she just got a bath tonight too!

Is she left handed? She is holding the stamp tongs in here left hand like I do!

Left handed people are in their right minds!

That is awesome. Do you mind me asking how old she is? My 8-year-old is the reason I'm on this forum. I received a handful of used stamps from someone a few months ago, and she was so fascinated. I've always kinda wanted to collect, and her reaction gave me a good excuse to finally start!

She is 5 and she is indeed a South Paw. She thought the flag cover was good enough to keep the doubles in...lol We ended up soaking the rest but she carefully picked out all the ones with the complete cancels..wonder where she learned that? ha-ha!

You're lucky, my daughter (14 now) thinks my stamp collecting is "just weird!".

Great pics, Jeff. Very cute. I fear her collection may surpass yours very shortly.

Jeff, what are her favorites ? I'd love to send her a nice assortment of her favorites. I too get the enjoyment of sharing Stamps with a Child and it's time I wouldn't trade for the finest Stamps.

Love this thread. My younger daughter is also five... but she can't sit still long enough to sort more than a handful of stamps, much less handle them so carefully!
