I'd like to see the Flag over stamps to be bigger and have rounded corners like the first self-adhesive Canadian stamps series of flags. Then I could see all the details instead of squinting.
And perhaps also to have a series of larger flower stamps mimicing the flower coils. Maybe with an animal or bird on them too. Why have little stamps when you could have larger ones?! |

Are Tim Horton franchises as numerous in the US as they are here in Canada? Just wondering. Oh, here's another stamp issue we could have - 2017 Commemorating 50 years since the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup Chimo Bujutsu |

I'd like to see Canadian stamps showing the pictures of such artists as Norval Morrisseau. He did design a Christmas stamp way back when, but I'd like to see more of his work on stamps. |

roll up the rim would be about what could be expected and probably be a big hit. I'm not going to comment on the leafs ather than to say they are leading in fights this year. There is a local essex county artish Ron Suchiu who has done some amazing works of art from the edmund fitzgerald, blues brothers, titanic and a host of other famous/ infamous works many of which support charities such as Jane Goodall and David Suzuki. It may be years before his work is on stamps but expect it will be at some point. |

As well as stamps . . .
Perhaps start using control numbers and maybe plate numbers again also. Australia uses one Koala, 2 koalas, etc. now for different printings.
Many countries use control numbers. Easier to plate stamps, and collect numbers, as well as collect beautiful stamps.
Have more circular or rounded-off official cancellations and postmarks available across Canada to any Post Office that desired one, instead of the rectangular cancels that are in use now. Men and women like rounded things naturally.
Cancels dress up (make look better) stamps. |
