Austria Post will issue on November 30 a secular Holiday self adhesive stamp portraying Pieter Bruegel the Elder' painting Hunters in the Snow.
He is one of my favourite painters and that particular painting
is one of his best in my opinion.
Austria Post contracted the printing out to Joh. Enschedé of
Holland which kind of fits since the Fleming Bruegel was
born in what was then the southern Netherlands, now Belgium.

My little collection of Christmas seals and labels. Canada, Denmark, United States, Venezuela and South Africa.

And a couple from Boys Town, both showing the Chapel.

I don't know James, first you show labels and now some
poorly separated messy perforated example of a stamp.

How could you?

While the Botswana stamps are really quite striking, I don't think of Christmas when I look at them. If the words Happy Christmas were not on them, they would not in my opinion be Christmas stamps. Just saying.
