In Singapore, Christmas stamps are not issued during the Christmas season. The stamps are issued every 2 years as part of a set of festival stamps marking the holidays of the Christians, the Hindus, the Muslims and the Chinese (traditional festivals). These 2 stamps (Scott 1572 & 1576), part of an 8-stamp issue in 2012, are for Christmas ... because we see Santa Claus in them! |
