Hi!

I have these envelopes with several hundred or thousand duplicates of Oscar II. Facit nr 52-60..

I'd like to know what to do with them really.. I don't have the time or energy to determine colourvariety (9 different), wm-variety (5 different) and other ~15 varieties..

And most of them are of no monetary value if no special variety.. What's the best to do with them? I was thinking of trying to make a database of CDS and other cancels.. What do you think? :)

A database of Swedish cancels undoubtedly already exists. You could check your hoard for rare cancels, ship and railroad markings, etc., seems more to the point.

Or you could anoint yourself Oscar III:

Well, yes, I do have the Facit catalog for all cancels/CDS/etc, so I meant a database for me.. I have a few other envelopes with hoards like these, with only duplicates.. I won't soak them, that's for sure..

But it'll take serious amount of time to check all the CDS's as well. :/
