I found a specialized catalog from 1954 written by L. Seale Holmes M.D. titled "Specialized Philatelic catalogue of Canada & British North America. Does anyone use this catalogue ?

I have no first hand experience with the catalog, but according to this link the catalog was first produced in 1935 and, even after the death of the original author, it was updated through 1968:

I have one of his catalogues. Mine is the 1963 edition.

I do not use them per se. However, they do have useful information in them. Had Leslie S. Holmes continued, his catalogue may have been the one of choice before Unitrade entered the scene?
