Anybody have an idea as to what these are? I can tell they've never been used or hinged, but thats it. They look Russian, but I can't find details

Well, I'm a little fuzzy on these () but my guess is that's a 5r surcharge on a 20k Russian. The original stamp was issued in 1910 (SC#82a) and was surcharged in 1922-23 (SC#216).

There is an imperf version as well as perfed, but because I don't have my glasses on (oh, wait, I do!), I can't tell if your stamps are perfed or not. If they are imperf then they would be SC#223.

yea, going from .JPEG to .GIF stinks, they are imperf.

Didn't realize it was that bad until I'd already posted the topic, will try to scan them really quick and see if that helps.

I agree, they look like SC#223. Forgeries exist.
