Hi, I am new here, I have been lurking awhile.
I have seen where a few member have used a book from the UPSS for reference when trying to identify cut squares and postal stationary.
I went to their website and they have several books, can someone please give me the exact title for this book so I can be sure I am getting the right one.
Thank you so much.

I would start with any year of Scotts Specialized US - probably available at your public library.

Welcome ILoveLabbies:

I would also recommend the Scott Specialized Catalogue published by Amos Press

BUT, I believe this is the book you saw mentioned here...

The Scott Specialized is fine for most collectors but if you want to go into the field in depth you are best off with their specialized catalogs by century. (one for 19th Cent, and one for 20th & 21st centuries).

Hello,
Here's the two titles from the UPSS: U.S. 19th Century Stamped Envelopes and Wrappers (2012) Editor Dan Undersander and U.S. 20th and 21st Century Stamped Envelopes and Wrappers (2011) Editor Dan Undersander. As folks above mentioned, the Scott's U.S. Specialized is fine for basic indentification, but the other two a great for specialization and greater detail if needed. The UPSS books are what the APS expertizers in U.S. Postal Stationery use.

Hi again, thank you so much for the replies. I already own the Scott Specialized US Catalogue and the USPS Postal Catalogue. I wanted something with a little more depth.

Battlestamps, thanks for posting, that was exactly what I was looking for.

I will be sure to introduce myself in that section of the forum too and tell a little about myself.
