I'm currently running around 15 or so sales on ebay and I put up a lot from a Country I don't collect and I can't believe how popular it is as it's getting hammered with views and people watching it. The Countries on sale are the following, which one would you think attracts the most attention ? Scenario: ebay North America. The Commonwealth countries I pay the extra .50¢ for ebay U.K. exposure. The countries. U.S. Canada British Guiana Bahamas Cuba Australia Romania Italian Socialist republic

Ding, Ding ! We have a winner. Spot on Horamakhet, Cuba by a whopping 2-1 ratio over the next highest which falls in this order
Cuba
British Guiana U.S. Canada FDC's (1930's) Italian Socialist Republic Bahamas Australia Romania
Now the question is whether it's the material itself which can only be speculated on at this point. None of the auctions are for common everyday material for the most part while none of it super scarce. Sales range from $9.99 - $300. For example the Australia sale is for a complete set of the Sydney Harbor bridge all mint including the 5/-. I don't think it's price as that usually doesn't stop someone from looking and I think more people are interested in looking at more expensive items.

So a lot of the people browse better material ? I only look at what I might be able to buy. |

I know that when I'm shopping for a particular item I look at the more expensive items to see the difference between that and what I'm able to afford :) |

For a long time, the U.S. had restrictions on the import of Cuban stamps, while Canada did not. Could that be a factor? |

Sweden local post Stamps have just surpassed the Cuban Stamps in popularity. I can't list these things fast enough and they're not making it 4 hours on the sale table before someone grabs them. I found a bunch of blocks and I put 4 of them up for sale and they sold within 2 hours and I don't think my price was too low. So I listed up 4 more blocks and have received offers on 3 of the 4 within 3 hours......holy Sweden ! |
