Just in on fresh stamp collecting mail is this nice looking, repeating, circle-and-waves roller-cancel from Halifax, NS.

It is not dated. A bit hard to read on my example but it says:

' HALIFAX NS / ( Canada Post symbol graphic) / B3K 1T0 ' and then wavey (corrugated) lines.

Interesting Puzzler. I have seen a few examples of that type of cancellation before but not many.

My one question is, does one of stamps you received on cover have the coloured snowflakes omitted?

Those two stamps above are two border designs for the new (2012) Picture Postage personalized, cusrom stamps from Canada Post / Lowe Martin printers.

The second stamp has, as a border, shadow lines around two corners.

On a large envelope, received here on Oct. 24, 2013, a couple of nice, readable examples of the Halifax Circle ( Oval actually ) -and-wavy-lines Roller cancel, a non-dated postmark.

2c Monarch catapillar and 8c Nellie McClung stamps,
