Hi. These both have the Lozenges watermark, but the right stamp has an extended line on the inner frame. Is this just a lucky ink transfer or something different (Scott doesn't mention any varieties).

Michel doesn't list this as a plate flaw, but the Germania issues (especially the wartime issues) are of such varying print quality that entire volumes can be written on the different varieties. See here, for example.

Thanks. Most of the examples involve missing colors that could indicate some material was on the die, blocking the ink. In this case, it is an extra line. Interesting, at the very least.
