What exactly do you need to know? The perfin is an incompletely punched pattern FRITZ/WEIN. Common perfin. The fact that it is not complertely punched through makes it a low value to many (49 cents seem a little high, but then add on postage! Your call.
Wadmalatz posted this perfin in a previous topic on SCF. Do a search for the topic. A partly "blind" perfin stamp in that the initials/name not completely perforated. Your link is of a completely "blind" perfin stamp as it has no perforations forming the initials/name "FRITZ WEIN" ... WEIN is obviously Vienna and "FRITZ" is er...er... the man with the biggest vinyl collection in Austria?
I thank you both very much for the info :) So I was right! My inexperience was the culprit! I've not yet seen a perfin not punched through.I recently read in a thread here on SCF about people trying to do it themselves. To me, the perfin didn't look right and knew if anyone would know about it, they'd be on this forum ~Ash
