Hi

Take a look at this Scott #249 Newfoundland stamp...Take a look at the top two stamps..Is it my imagination or are they a darker shade of blue more than the two bottom stamps..???

Maybe it's an optical illusion as you look down. They do kind of look darker as you scan down.

In the pic below, I cut a piece from the bottom stamp and pasted it over the top stamp (see the vertical strip over the right half of the Queen's face). I can discern no significant color difference.
