Hmcs Crusader

Last year I got this cover at an auction. It was mailed by a sailor on board the H.M.C.S. Crusader during the Korean War. The Canadian Base cancellation is nice and clear too.

The back of the cover also has a crest of the ship as well.

I have been into this site before. What amazes me is the cover similar to mine that are addressed to Mrs. W.L. Jary.

I wonder how many covers exist from this ship with the same cachet type? I am also wondering if the sender created the cachet himself?

BTW - I still have about 3000 more pages to add to my albums - I am not complaining, exaggerating or bragging, but, I do have a task ahead of me. A lot of these have been accumulated over the years.
