Starting price of 49$ and finally sells for 16 000$.....the winners first bid was 92.10$ !?!? I've seen a few items from China like this lately with low starting price and ending up with a top $$$ sell. I guess that chinese collectors have a lot of $$$ and are ready to pay lots of money for items that are probably not easily available in their country
My original reaction was the condition it was in. Looked like mold and acid been beating it. I am not exactly how you can preserve it once bought it. Since people are willing to shell out top dollar for it, my conclusion is that it must be rare.
