Indonesia Soccer

Hi to all

Can anyone confirm of deny this.
An Indonesian friend told me that the stamps with the soccer player removed was done to prevent the population re-using the stamps. The centre being removed by the post office and that it is difficult to find postally used copies with the soccer player still intact on the stamps

Hi, I had quite a few of these stamps all intact and used on piece, as I don't collect Indonesia I sold them on bidstart. So if that was the intention many of the postal workers didn't bother, I think it is more likely to be like the British definitives though with the ovals that should detach themselves if you try to remove them from the paper
