i often daydream about walking into a deal where a person has a ton of stamps they want to sell at a price I can handle....my "normal" friends could deal with that and also do their golf, gardening bass boat fishing,whatever...not me, all that people would see of me would be the houselights still on at 2:30 a.m. as I sorted and cataloged. It is what it is !

If I could find a way to marry fly-fishing with stamp collecting I'd never leave the river bank!

Everyone get his fun how he want. I use to play golf years ago and it was fun. We have a small garden but I don't consider that a hobby. I had for years jobs where I work physically I don't need more exercise except bicycling but rarely for long rides. So having a beer while listening to good music and stamp collecting are my leisure. For sure your wife know where to find you.

I almost wrote about it in my previous post. I don't think the stamp club who organise the trip to Ottawa last year is doing it this year. It's not mention on their website and also I only have little money to spend. 3 weeks ago I bought a big lot of 800 used stamps of Denmark. Many minimal values stamps but I printed the pages and fill them while learning about this country. Whish you the best if you make the trip to Ottawa.
