Ok, this little item has me completely stumped. Reads "five cents" in English, but I have no idea what it is. Any help with id, Scott No. (if there is one) or anything would be greatly appreciated. Good luck and thanks. - Jeff

I think it's probably the part of a post card or envelope where the stamp should go but I could be mistaken? I'd be curious to know now too!

What comes to mind is stamped revenue paper cut-out (perhaps an incomplete cut-out). Maybe the revenue folks will know more.

Not a revenue, most likely a cutout of an envelope showing where the stamp goes and the amount needed, as mentioned above.
