Hello all, I am new to the Stamp forum but am a frequent user of the coin forum. I am a true novice when it comes to stamps, even worse than a novice. Today my mother showed me these and I was wondering if they are anything common or uncommon. Please keep in mind I know nothing of stamps, so be easy on me if these are truly nothing special Thanks for anything you can offer me.

The cover at lower left, with the large copper-metallic circular illustration, is seldom recognized for what it is - part of a very limited edition ArtMaster or ArtCraft cachet, I don't remember which.

The various U.S. mint stamps are basically discount postage. If all the Statue of Liberty items were offered as a single ebay lot, you might net $7 or $8. The Postal Commemorative Society first day covers, in the closed album, are impossible to evaluate without pictures.

The Liberian stamps are Scott 623-28, there are six in the series in total. If there's a 7th it would probably be C196, I wouldn't say they are worth allot. I would say if they belonged to my mother then none of the pictured stamps are uncommon.

Folks may or may not say they aren't worth a lot, however, they're obviously fancy collectables for those interested in it's respected subject matter. Sometimes people acquire things they like versus what one can invest into.
