First glad to be back been off for a while with back surgery so hello gang. Now my question can J, I, and I, J,be in the sheet line up for the Scott A10 1p stamp plate 77? If so I'll need professional help here. According to this link.below everything matches even the dashes below the 7's in fact its how I help identify the other 7 under the cancel. Now I may just want it to be but doesn't hurt to ask.

Do you mean J and I in the upper corners and I and J in the lower corners?

That combination should exist, in theory; it is not one of the known examples.

This assumes the whole plate was legitimate, and that the expected examples were printed.

Much appreciated info, I guess next step is someone with a lot more experience than I to look it over at this point then. I mirrored the plate over the stamp the dashes under the 7's matched up and also the other corresponding marks as well. so wish me luck and thanks.

It's a 177,

apart from the 1 showing through on the left, the 77's are in the wrong position,

There is a pic in the paper but no 1 if so it would be visible on the opposite side where there is no cancel correct?

A 1200dpi scan of the plate number would be best

I went and used Kinko's today and magnified the thing 500% its a dang 137 plate number. How I got 77 out of it at all is beyond me. My eyes must be gone. But cheers to everyone any how for their great input.
