I am just a beginner collector of US stamps. I have mostly used stamps, about 1200 FDC's, and I've started buying MNH year sets on ebay. I dream of one day also collecting plate blocks, and filling my album. FDC's I would like to have at least one example for all stamps 1960 to present to begin. I think it will be a work in progress for the rest of my life hehehe!

Continuing the Gilligan's Island theme I should add I am hoping sooner or later to reach Professor status and then, maybe, many years down the road, Thurston Howell III.

I've specialized and I just purchased quite a few catalogs and reference books to help, so that's an improvement over Mary Anne.

When my collection is organized, look for my obit the next day. I would of died of the shock of having an organized collection. That being said for Brithday/Fathers Day I rec'd three lingerie chests from my better half to file away the collection or maybe she is dropping me hints in other areas.

We should have two guys and a van like on American Pickers..but I doubt they would make their fuel and motel expenses !

Phil that is a great idea as I was just thinking that myself! Would make a neat show though huh? Having said that though I live a stones throw from Bellefonte PA. and most of the residents there don't know anything about the APS! I'm dead serious I was there and asked directions and all I got was weird looks...so the show may not take off so well..lol
