Here are a couple of pamphlets from the Paris Exhibition in 1900

This one is more of a small book with all kinds of local information like Shops, restaurants, etc.

This is the inside ofthe back cover of the Conty guide.....ok quit looking a the left and you will see on the right hand side a full color map of the Exhibition grounds was included in this guide.

Yes I did. I started it because I collect World Fair and Exposition admission tickets. I thought that ticket looked familiar, I remember when Lucky orginally posted it. Glad you are enjoying it Phil.

Nice items since last I peaked in here. Great ticket Philb, such a nice item to have.

I got a couple of sheets today that I had never previously seen.
I'll show them in pairs with the official show sheet.

1980 Stampex.

The next two are from the London 1980 International.
The bottom one of the two I had been after for some time but never even seen it. Now at last........

The card below was issued by the USPS for sale at their stand at the same show as above. This too has always eluded me...until today !

The card below was issued by the USPS for Naposta'78 in Frankfurt,Germany.
The text is in German.
If anyone knows of a similar sheet in English or in both languages, I'd be happy to hear about it.

A TRIANGLE OF TRIANGLES!

FIPEX 1956

The fifth International Stamp Exhibition was held in the newly constructed Coliseum Building in New York City, April 1956. Over a quarter Million people attended the event. A US stamp, Scott# 1076 was issued to commemorate the event.
The American Banknote Company produced some very nice labels, triangular in shape and 4 different colours. Here are 'blocks' of 4 which arrived this week.....one could say Tete-Beche too .
[All triangular stamps issued in sheets would be Tete-Beche].

One of my favourite US Exhibition Labels.

I recently picked up a pile of German covers and cards from stamp exhibitions and other philatelic events. Have just had a quick peek through the pile, and it seems that its a collection of the special postmarks from these events. Does anybody know if there are a demand for items like this?

Sorry for the lack of scans, but I can scan a couple of them in my next scanning session.
