Lots of nice strikes there.

I like Hong Kong stamps with anything other than straight Hong Kong cancels. Your Shanghai doesn't have a high catalogue value, but it is more interesting to me than the more-common HK cancels.

Thanks. By the looks of the shanghai cancel on my stamp it looks like it was a huge Cancellation stamper. I wonder how much could even fit on a stamp!

The Shanghai cancel is on the KEVII 4c carmine...is that the one you are referring to?

I like the hooded cancels, too, such as the London example in the middle row of the third scan, though it is nice when there is a little more of the 'hood' present.
