Hey, guys, we got another one! And they said stamp collecting was dead.
There are so many ways to enjoy stamps. The art, the history, the geography, the languages, the topics. Your friends may not get it right now, but down the road, one of them just might...and if not, so be it. I will say that many non-collectors seem a bit in awe of the fact that I have any number of stamps that are 150 years old. They assume that this is a really big deal. (I
think it is awe...I suppose it could be pity...

.) Anyway, I don't disabuse them of the notion.
The best thing about stamps is that they are always sitting there - ready when you are, and patiently waiting when you are not.
